Cold weather mealtime

A favorite meal that my dear husband grew up eating is something he calls "Lacho."

There is no firm recipe, but it includes any of the following ingredients:
Smoked sausage and/or polska kielbasa and/or Bahamama
Tomatoes from the garden or from a can
Green Peppers.
Any other peppers of your choice, including jalepenos.
Garlic and onions, preferably fresh.
Salt and Pepper

Saute the onions and garlic, and add the sliced sausage first. Then, in a big cook pot, add the peppers, then the tomatoes. Simmer to your hearts content. Salt and pepper, and vary with the seasonings of your choice. That's it. Easy good eats. We like it with rice, but I think it's good on its own too. Enjoy with good fall beer.
