It doesn't need to be perfect

I encouraged Nathan to make this diorama the other day, and surprisingly he got really into it, finding all the materials for a winter scene. I was fighting the temptation to encourage a more artful arrangement (read: change it all around from the way he wanted it) but let him do it his own way instead. This morning I'm pausing to allow my children to be themselves and enjoy things their own way!

  1. Oh wow... That little black string puppet cat? I have a couple of those, did a blog post about them lol. Mom got me one when I was a kid, and I loved it!

I lost it, so she bought me a new one and tried to pass it off as the old one, but I could tell it was an imposter.

Luckily, I found the original, but now I see, Mom was trying so hard to make it right. =)
