Eating Good

Harvesting has begun here. Between our homegrown veggies, and our large beef purchase from a farmer friend, our weekly outlay for groceries is hovering around $50 a week right now. Could not come at a better time since we are still cash-poor from, well, a lot of things. I feel blessed.

  1. Looks delicious. Things are kind of slow in our garden. Our raspberries are doing well, we have a few grape tomatoes, and the radishes did fine.

  2. That looks awesome! I hate to garden, but I love produce. We joined a CSA last year, but were cash poor this year. So we didn't. And our CSA has had a lot of flood and hail damage, so I'm not sure I'm missing much. Our grocery outlay has been HUGE! With the kids at home all day they EAT ALL DAY LONG!
