It was pretty chilly, and the paths icy.
But man you could smell the spring in the air.
Saw a bunch of nuthatches at a feeder.
Feels like that first glorious sap-flow has begun.
Sure, it will probably snow more;
I've not yet seen the forsythia, so that's a given.
But spring is near for sure.
